If you like lakes and you're in this part of Idaho you can check out Deer Lakes. Three Cabins Creek flows through this area, and nearby you locate great locations like Galena Gulch. Deer Lakes is pretty dry ordinarily; throughout the month of December you get the most snow around here, and the driest month of the year is July. Stay the night at Baker Creek Campground, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Yellow Belly Trail. What a location

| | this is for outdoors folks. Clarion Inn Ketchum is a great site to get some rest, and Deer Lakes is a pleasant location to camp, Prairie Campground is a pleasant location. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is perfect at Sun Valley, and get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Salmon River. All through the summer months at Deer Lakes highs are generally in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Deer Lakes. | |
