Deer Lakes gets very little precipitation; through the month of December you get the most snow around here while July is regularly the driest month. Phyllis Lake is a nice lake close to Deer Lakes. There's so much to do here at Deer Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Prairie Campground is a tremendous location       for that. For the duration of the months of summer here at Deer Lakes, high temperatures usually reach the 70's. Summer night lows descend down to the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Deer Lakes. This location rocks, just explore all the amusing things to do in the neighborhood of Deer Lakes. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Sun Valley, and Salmon River has a splendid whitewater                  paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Deer Lakes; Yellow Belly Trail is a splendid local trail, and if you need a location to stay SnowRun by ResortQuest is a great choice.
