If you like lakes and you're in this part of Idaho you can check out Deer Lake. At Deer Lake during the summer months highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Deer Lake are in the 20's. And if that's not enough there's plenty more amusing stuff to do in the Clearwater Mountains. Stay the night at Orogrande Summit Campground, and close by you find

| | the Pilot Knob Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. Just can't get enough of the Clearwater Mountains. There is a fine hiking trail in the vicinity of Deer Lake called the Nellie Mountain Trail, and here at Deer Lake you can spot Concord Hill.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Clearwater Mountains. Places like Tepee Flats are great to take a look at, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Salmon River - South Fork. This lake is so | |

wonderful. Deer Lake is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Wildhorse Lake Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby, and the Reed Bar Trail is a brilliant hiking trail nearby.

moisture.
Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff near Deer Lake. There's some flowing water nearby, Brandon Creek is a stream you can take a look at while here, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clearwater River - South Fork.
