Why not stop by Deep Lake if you're passing through these parts. Deep Lake is a wonderful location to camp, Upper Payette Campground is a wonderful location, and after a long day outdoors Western Mountain Lodge is a great site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Payette River - North Fork; you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Crestline Trail. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not pop by Frog

Now, you may think that's lots but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. Deep Lake is a location that
is rather dehydrated regularly; May is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Summertime at Deep Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down
into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Deep Lake fall into the 20's.
