    Go to Deadwood Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. The warmest time of the year at Deadwood Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows through the winter for Deadwood Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. All year is a good time in the Salmon River Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. A pleasant spot for whitewater  
   paddling right next door to Deadwood Reservoir is Deadwood River, and while you're here, you could check out Bummer Creek. If you came to camp Barneys Park Campground is a magnificent place to do that, and why not take a look at Deadwood Dam since you're here.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Salmon River Mountains. Deadwood Basin is a charming place any time of year. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You simply
 
               must fancy Deadwood Reservoir. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Whitehawk Basin Trail. There's so much to do here at Deadwood Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Homers Campground is a great spot for that.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Scott Mountain Driveway is magnificent fun; a nice nearby hotel is Ashley Inn. Deadwood Reservoir is right by the West Side Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Deadwood River. At Deadwood Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; the month with most of the snow is January; July on the other hand is the driest.
