    Do stop by Deadwood Reservoir while you're in this part of Idaho. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful. It is very dehydrated here at Deadwood Reservoir ordinarily; all through the month of January you get the most snow around here; July is the month with the least moisture. Just can't get enough of the Salmon River Mountains. Ashley Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Deadwood Basin is a pleasant spot to
 
   check out, and get dripping wet paddling on Deadwood River. Take a hike on the West Side Trail. There's so much to do here at Deadwood Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Barneys Park Campground is a nice spot for that. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Deadwood Reservoir is unbeatable! Stay the night at Homers Campground, and as expected Bummer Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth stopping at.
Hiking along the Scott Mountain Driveway
 
               is glorious fun, and paddling on Deadwood River is so much fun. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Deadwood Reservoir reach the 90's with overnight lows in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Deadwood Reservoir. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. You don’t have to go far from Deadwood Reservoir to distinguish the water at Deadwood Dam, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Whitehawk Basin Trail.
