If you like lakes and you're in this part of Idaho you can check out Lake Darling. Lake Darling is one of the lakes here in the Cabinet Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun stuff to do in the Cabinet Mountains. There is a great hiking trail close to Lake Darling called the East Fork Boulder Creek Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Moose Lake.

can go for a hike along the North Fork Trail, and hey, Gem Creek is a perfect local stream.
You truly must have a thing about the Cabinet Mountains. East Fork Public Campground is a good local campground, and get your heart pumping
on the tremendous whitewater of Kootenai. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SANDPOINT NORTH is a wonderful choice; why not camp at Porcupine Lake Campground if you're here at Lake Darling. Summertime highs
at Lake Darling typically tend to be in the 80's while night lows are commonly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; overnight lows at Lake Darling through the winter ordinarily dip into the 20's.
Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Hemlock Trail.
