The beauty of Danskin Lake is reason enough to stop by. Places like Ballinger Flat are great to visit, and here at Danskin Lake you can make out Danskin Peak. There is a glorious hiking trail right next door to Danskin Lake called the Roaring River Trail, and if you've had enough of Danskin Lake, Lamberton Reservoir is nearby. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do close to Danskin Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Rattlesnake Campground is a brilliant place to camp, naturally you could also visit Long Tom Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all. For the duration of the summer highs here at Danskin Lake get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Danskin
Lake tend to be in the 10's. Not much rain falls here at Danskin Lake; November is when you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Best Western Foothills Motor Inn is a brilliant location to get some rest, and the Devils Creek Trail is a brilliant hiking trail nearby.
