    Do stop by Dandy Lake while you're in this part of Idaho. You definitely have to fancy the Sawtooth Range. The Hot Springs Creek Trail is a great hiking trail next to Dandy Lake, and camping at Dandy Lake is glorious fun, Queens River Campground is a glorious local campground. Get dripping wet paddling on Salmon River, and there's some flowing water nearby, Nanny Creek is a stream you can have a look at while you're here. Dandy Lake is located in the Sawtooth Range.
 
   The amount of precipitation that falls at Dandy Lake is close to the national average; during the month of January you get the most snow around here; July is the month with the least moisture. At Dandy Lake throughout the days of summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. During the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Dandy Lake. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Dandy Lake. If you  
               came for an overnight stay Powerplant Campground is a great location to camp, and stopping by Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
If the weather is magnificent here at Dandy Lake, you can go for a hike along the Black Warrior Creek Trail, and you'll stumble on a stunning lake called Blue Jay Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Yuba River Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and if the weather is pretty, you get a brilliant sight of Plummer Peak from Dandy Lake. Man, is there lots of cool things to do in the Sawtooth Range.
