    Why not stop by Dandy Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little visit to Nanny Creek since you're here at Dandy Lake; one of the dominant highlights of the surroundings of Dandy Lake is Plummer Peak. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Dandy Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Greyhawk by ResortQuest. The warmest time of the year at Dandy Lake comes with high temperatures in  
   the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are typically in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Dandy Lake tend to be in the 10's.
Dandy Lake is located in the Sawtooth Range. Stay the night at Queens River Campground, and the Yuba River Trail offers hiking at its best. Dandy Lake is a good place of normal rain; the wettest month of the year is generally January,
 
               that's the one that snows the most, and July is the month with the least moisture.
Dandy Lake is right by the Black Warrior Creek Trail, and Dandy Lake is a glorious location to visit for more than one day, Powerplant Campground is a glorious location to camp nearby. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sawtooth Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Salmon River, and hiking along the Hot Springs Creek Trail is pleasant fun.
