If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Hamilton is a nice choice, and you can stay the night at Lee Creek Campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Granite Ridge Trail; lakes are such peaceful sites, why not visit Dodge Lake. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Dan Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it       plunges down to the 40's. Highs all through the winter are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Dan Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lee Ridge Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Brushy Fork. Dan Lake gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; most of the snow falls throughout January; July on the other hand is the driest. The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful.                  All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Bitterroot Range will keep you coming back many times. Get wet paddling on White Sand Creek; do take a hike on the Sally Ridge Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Bitterroot Range.
