D Bar Reservoir is in the neighborhood of Burton Dam which is a beautiful place absolutely worth going to, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Battle Creek. Be careful coming to D Bar Reservoir, you might not ever want to return back home again. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Grasshopper Trail, and a short spree to Camel Falls is always

| | worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant place like Bull Basin here at D Bar Reservoir is too good to miss, and if you've had enough of D Bar Reservoir, Bennett Reservoir is nearby. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to D Bar Reservoir while night lows are mostly in the 50's. sees the most rain while July is regularly the driest month. Deep Creek is a magnificent whitewater spot right next door to D Bar Reservoir, and a good vista of stunning Avery Table is available.
