    Go to Cutthroat Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. At Cutthroat Lake through the summertime highs are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Cutthroat Lake. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Salmon River Mountains. Everybody close by loves skiing at Brundage Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling  
   on Salmon River; a brilliant place to camp here at Cutthroat Lake is Whitewater Campground.
From a rain point of view Cutthroat Lake is a quite common site; January is when you get the most snow here; the driest month is July. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains. At Cutthroat Lake you can observe Sheepeater Mountain; Rim Creek is in the vicinity of Cutthroat Lake and is always a pleasure to visit.
So much cool stuff to do in
 
               the Salmon River Mountains, not enough time. Cutthroat Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Rhett Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground, and close by you come across the Chamberlain Trail which is a great hiking trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Cutthroat Lake. While you're here at Cutthroat Lake it's a fine idea to visit Upper Red Top Meadows; going for a hike on the Center Mountain Trail is always a splendid adventure. There is a splendid hiking trail near Cutthroat Lake called the Three Blaze Trail, and you might also want to pay a visit to Sleepy Hollow if you're here at Cutthroat Lake.
