Cutoff Lake is not the only place nearby, Smith Lake is a nearby lake; camping at Plowboy Campground is always a splendid experience. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Smith Creek, and a quick trip to Bear Creek is unquestionably a good idea. At Cutoff Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and the night is quite       chillier of course, usually in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Cutoff Lake. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cutoff Lake. On a brilliant day at Cutoff Lake you can take a hike along the White Mountain Trail, and if you came to camp Dirt Oven Campground is a nice place to do that. Head up to Schweitzer and strap some skis to your feet, unsurprisingly                  you could also take a look at Canyon Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Cutoff Lake gets very little precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November, and July is the month with the least moisture.
