Curtis Lake is a nice lake to visit. Any time is a nice time at Curtis Lake if you like the outdoors. You can run the rapids of Payette River - Middle Fork close to Curtis Lake; if you fancy a little side visit, try Big Creek Summit. For the period of the long summer days at Curtis Lake highs are typically in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. A wonderful spot to camp here at Curtis Lake is Picnic Point Campground, and hiking along the Curtis Way is nice fun.
