     The beauty of Cummings Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bitterroot Range. And that's not everything you can do here in the Bitterroot Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cummings Lake; Ax Park Way is a good local trail, and a nice place to camp here at Cummings Lake is North Fork Store. This lake is so wonderful. Box Spring is a pretty spot to stop at while you're at Cummings Lake, and why  
   not take a refreshing hike along the Moose Creek Trail.
All through the days of summer at Cummings Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's while Cummings Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's. The Divide Trail offers hiking at its best, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Salmon River. This lake is so wonderful.
 
               Near Cummings Lake you discover good spots like Bear Gulch.
Any time is a tremendous time at Cummings Lake if you like the outdoors. Lost Trail has good slopes and a friendly staff; there's always Cummings Dam to visit next to Cummings Lake. Just can't get enough of the Bitterroot Range. Why not have a look at nearby South Fork Hull Creek while you're here at Cummings Lake, and not far from Cummings Lake you'll locate Allan Lake which is a beautiful lake. Not much precipitation falls here at Cummings Lake; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February.
Lakes are tremendous; Hull Creek Reservoir is a lake that's right next door to Cummings Lake, and camping at Deadwater Campground is always a tremendous experience.
