Cub Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. On a great day at Cub Lake you can take a hike along the Boundary Creek Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Grand Targhee in the vicinity. For the period of the summer highs here at Cub Lake get into the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. But wait, there's more to do near Cub Lake. Camping is available at Bear Gulch Campground; it's a glorious idea to take a look at Sawmill Creek. Robinson Creek has a good whitewater paddling
spot close by; a short journey to Fish Creek Spring is always worthwhile. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Cub Lake; during the month of January you get the most snow around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
