Crystal Lake is located in the Wallowa Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Whitetail Club and Resort, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Old Boise Trail. Throughout the summer at Crystal Lake highs are generally in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's; nighttime lows at Crystal       Lake during the winter typically dip into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Black Imp can be seen from Crystal Lake. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. There's so much to do here at Crystal Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Seven Devils Campground is a great place for that, and you can run the rapids of Snake River. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is plentiful here in the Wallowa Mountains. While staying                  at Crystal Lake you could always look at Pactolian Gulch, and a lake close by is Ruth Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful location for whitewater paddling right next door to Crystal Lake is Little Salmon River, and going for a hike on the Deep Creek Trail is always a good adventure. After a long day outdoors Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a nice location to spend a night or two, and you can go for a hike on the Rapid River Trail. Around Crystal Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most while July is mostly the driest month. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Wallowa Mountains. Crystal Lake is not the only place nearby, Satan Lake is a nearby lake.
