Do stop by Crystal Lake while you're in this part of Idaho. Having a glorious time in the Wallowa Mountains is simple. Crystal Lake is near Pactolian Gulch which is unquestionably worth taking a look at; Western Mountain Lodge is a great spot to get some rest. Crystal Lake is located in the Wallowa Mountains. One of the dominant characteristics of the surroundings of Crystal Lake is Black Imp, and close by you hit upon the Old Boise Trail which is a great hiking trail. While you're here at Crystal Lake, you could also stop by gorgeous Black Lake; there are tremendous spots to explore along the Rapid River Trail. rain; the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Wallowa Mountains has to offer. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we
recommend Snake River, and if you came to camp Seven Devils Campground is a great spot to do that. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There's so much to do here at Crystal Lake that you need to camp here for a while,
Black Lake Campground is a nice spot for that, and a glorious close by hotel is Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Little Salmon River, and going for a hike on the Deep Creek Trail is always a great adventure.
