If you are in this part of Idaho make sure to pay a visit to Crystal Lake. Crystal Lake is located in the Wallowa Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Whitetail Club and Resort, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Old Boise Trail. Throughout the summer at Crystal Lake highs are generally in the 90's. for a hike on the Deep Creek Trail is always a good adventure. After a long day outdoors Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a nice location to spend a night or two, and you can go for a hike on the Rapid River Trail. Around Crystal
Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most while July is mostly the driest month. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Wallowa Mountains. Crystal
