It's always fun to stop by Cruzen Pond. Westside RV Park is a glorious local campground; do take a hike on the Jungle Creek Trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Donnelly Trail, and a perfect spot for whitewater paddling is Payette River - North Fork. And if that's not enough there's a lot more fun stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Ponderosa State Park is a great site to camp, and if you need a place to stay

Cruzen Pond is one of the lakes here in the Salmon River Mountains. Cruzen Pond is ordinarily a relatively waterless location; December is when you get the most snow here, and July on the other hand is the driest. And that's not all you can do here at Cruzen Pond. Fork, and after a long day outdoors Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a great place to spend a night or two. At Cruzen Pond through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Cruzen Pond tend to be in the 0's.
