That right there is a load already, but it carries on; Cruzen Pond has it all. Cruzen Pond is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Ponderosa State Park is a nice spot to camp nearby; on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Arling Trail. This location, the Salmon River Mountains, has so much outdoors fun things. Melton Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could explore, and a nice nearby hotel is AmericInn       McCall. Not much rainfall falls here at Cruzen Pond; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest of the months is July. There's whitewater on Payette River - North Fork for all you adrenaline junkies, and if you need a location to stay Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a fine choice. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains. There are some great whitewater spots on Payette River - North Fork, and going for a hike along                  the Donnelly Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. So many entertaining things to do in the Salmon River Mountains, not enough time. Stay the night at Westside RV Park. Summer at Cruzen Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and night lows in the 0's for Cruzen Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
