At Crows Nest Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's, and the night is slightly cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Crows Nest Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Crows Nest Lake is a glorious place to camp, Trails West RV Park is a glorious place; a visit to Hagerman Fossil Beds National       Monument is worthwhile. Crows Nest Lake gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that snows the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
