The warmest time of the year at Crater Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are commonly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Crater Reservoir are in the 0's. It is very waterless here at Crater Reservoir commonly; during       January this area sees the most snow; August is when it's the driest. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Camas Creek, and a lake close by is Upper Seven-Hundred Reservoir. If you need a place to stay AmericInn Hailey is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful.
