All through the summertime months here at Crater Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 30's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's; nighttime lows at Crater Lake during the wintertime generally sink into the 0's. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff close to Crater Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. Have a great hiking adventure       along the Parks Peak Trail; paddling on Johnson Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Crater Peak is gorgeous and can be observed from Crater Lake; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Indian Creek Trail. Crater Lake is a good place of typical precipitation; through the month of January you get the most snow around here, and the driest month is July. If you're here, you might as well stop at Profile Gap, and Yellow Pine Campground                  is a good local campground. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Golden Gate Campground is a perfect campground nearby, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Mccall Super 8 Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great vicinity for people who like lakes. Fish Lake is a lake nearby; some close by water includes Ellison Creek. Having a good time in the Salmon River Mountains is easy. Salmon River - East Fork of South Fork has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by; since you're here you can take a hike along the Big Chief Creek Trail. Brundage Mountain is a magnificent local ski area; you're most likely interested in lakes, Middle Lake is one of those close by.
