Idaho has many beautiful lakes and Crater Lake is one of them. Crater Lake is located in the Wallowa Mountains. All through the warm days of summer at Crater Lake temperatures are generally in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's while Crater Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great planet it

| | would be. Going for a hike on the Heavens Gate Trail is always a good adventure; camping is available at Papoose Campground.
At Crater Lake you don’t see much rainfall; most of the rain falls during May while July is generally the driest month. There are brilliant sites to look at along the Old Boise Trail, and paddling on Snake River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Windy Saddle Campground if you're here at Crater Lake; get drenched | |

After a long day outdoors Western Mountain Lodge is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and don't leave Crater Lake without first going for a hike along the Deep Creek Trail. There's no way
somebody can get bored here in the Wallowa Mountains. A perfect place to stop at in the vicinity of Crater Lake is Fire Camp Saddle. So many enjoyable things to do in the Wallowa Mountains, not sufficient time. Places like McCalla Basin are splendid to have a look at, and a great nearby hotel is Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge.
