Why not stop by Crater Lake if you're passing through these parts. You can run the rapids of Salmon River - Yankee Fork next to Crater Lake, and Sun Valley has glorious slopes and a friendly staff. There's whitewater on Salmon River for all you adrenaline kick people, and nearby you stumble on the Yellow Belly Trail which is a good hiking trail. the 70's to Crater Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Crater Lake drop into the-10's.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors SnowRun by ResortQuest is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. Around Crater Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically December,
that's the one that snows the most, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Marshall Creek Campground is a great campground here, and why not stop by close by Bighorn Creek while you're here at Crater Lake.
