There's wonderful hiking along the Red Trail, and do go to Coyote Flat Reservoir, it's a lovely lake. Don't leave Coyote Hole Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Rough Trail, and Owyhee River - South Fork is a great whitewater spot nearby. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Deep Creek. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Coyote       Hole Reservoir, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's with temperatures at Coyote Hole Reservoir dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Coyote Hole Reservoir gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful.
