Cow Lake is pretty dried out typically; most of the rain falls during May, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Kennally Creek Trail, and after a long day outdoors
Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a fine site to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Cow Lake throughout the months of summer are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures during the
wintertime are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Cow Lake tend to be in the 20's. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
