The beauty of Cove Lakes is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Race Track Campground is a good spot to camp, and the top of Gedney Mountain is easily spotted from Cove Lakes. From a rain point of view Cove Lakes is a pretty common site; January is when you get the most snow here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
