If you are in this part of Idaho make sure to pay a visit to Cove Lake. It is very dried up here at Cove Lake regularly; the month with most of the snow is December, and July is the month with the least moisture. For the duration of the warm months, highs commonly are in the 70's at Cove Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 30's. During the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's while Cove Lake overnight low temperatures

This lake is so wonderful. Chinese Wall is something you shouldn't miss while you're here at Cove Lake, and The Gunsight is a great spot to spend some time. Not far from Cove Lake, you'll find Big Boulder Lakes which is a beautiful lake, and Salmon River - Yankee Fork is a tremendous whitewater spot | |

nearby. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sun Valley since you're here; if you came for an overnight stay Marshall Creek Campground is a great place to camp.
I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous
time here at Cove Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Clarion Inn Ketchum, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Salmon River. Cove Lake is right by the Yellow Belly Trail, and Lee Peak is clearly visible from Cove Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid site like The Kettles here at Cove Lake is too great to miss.
