Idaho has many beautiful lakes and Cougar Lakes is one of them. A journey to Cougar Lakes wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Hot Spring, and going for a hike on the Needles Trail is always a tremendous adventure. This lake is so wonderful. There is a good hiking trail next to Cougar Lakes called the Kennally Creek Trail; the vista of Blackmare is beautiful. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. nice hiking trail near Cougar Lakes; Cougar Lakes is a great place to visit for more than one day, Kennally Creek Campground is a great place to camp nearby. Cougar Lakes is located in the Salmon River Mountains.
