Monumental Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot near Cottonwood Lake, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always       go whitewater paddling on Big Creek. This site, the Salmon River Mountains, has so much outdoors cool things. There's brilliant hiking along the Farrow Mountain Trail, and possibly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Stoddard Lake is just a very short distance away. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Salmon River Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Coyote Springs Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Parrot Placer                  Campground is a great site to camp.
