    Corbus Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. At Corbus Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Corbus Lake. Going for a hike on the Black Warrior Creek Trail is always a great adventure; if you get bored of Corbus Lake you could also pop by close by Warrior Lakes.  
   Bald Mountain is delightful and can be distinguished from Corbus Lake; close by you hit upon the Hot Springs Creek Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail.
This lake is so wonderful. The Yuba River Trail is a splendid hiking trail right next door to Corbus Lake; camping is available at Chaparral Campground. Corbus Lake is located in the Sawtooth Range. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Sawtooth Range has to offer. Camping at Queens
 
               River Campground is always a good experience, and a lake nearby is Lodgepole Lake.
You completely must have a thing about Corbus Lake. Here at Corbus Lake you'll possibly meet some people from Mountain Home. An average amount of rainfall falls at Corbus Lake; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture.

Elk lake is approximately 12 miles from the Grandjean campground. You can not reach it by car. The trail has mild elevation gain and parallels the river during many sections.
