Hit the slopes at Lost Trail in close proximity, and while you're here you can take a hike along the North Route Of Old Nez Perce Trail. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area near Coquina Lake has to offer. Why not pop by Fish Lake Dam if you're here; camping is available at Schumaker Campground. The amount of precipitation that falls at Coquina Lake is close to the national average; of all the months       in a year January is the one with the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. Whitewater paddling is perfect on White Sand Creek, and Lower Bear Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Coquina Lake is located in the Bitterroot Range. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Coquina Lake. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Bitterroot Range.
