Hidden Creek Campground is a pleasant campground here, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Cedar Creek Stock Driveway. From a precipitation point of view Copper Lake is a rather typical site; the month with most of the snow is January, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Clearwater River - North Fork is a brilliant whitewater spot close to Copper Lake, and camping       at Copper Lake is magnificent fun, Spruce Tree Campground is a magnificent local campground. You simply have to fancy the Bitterroot Range. While you're here at Copper Lake, you could also check out beautiful Bacon Lake, and the panorama of Five Lakes Butte is beautiful. A nice spot for whitewater paddling close to Copper Lake is St. Joe River, and Super 8 Motel - St. Regis is a great place to get some rest. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable                  stuff the area near Copper Lake has to offer. Through the summertime months here at Copper Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Copper Lake tend to be in the 10's.
