That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Copper Lake has it all. Get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Moyie River; do take a hike on the Copper Creek Trail. A good spot for whitewater paddling next to Copper Lake is Kootenai; camping is available at Copper Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Queen Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this       area, and if you came for an overnight stay Robinson Lake Campground is a perfect site to camp. One of the dominant features of the surroundings of Copper Lake is Copper Mountain, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino is a great choice. Not much rain falls here at Copper Lake; the month with most of the rain is November while July is ordinarily the driest month. Have a great hiking adventure along the Ruby Ridge Trail, and Sandpoint                  Super 8 Motel is a great place to get some rest.
