Moyie River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and wonderful hiking is available along the Ruby Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Copper Creek Campground is a great campground nearby; don't leave Copper Lake without first going for a hike along the Copper Creek Trail. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Copper Lake get into the 80's while night lows are commonly in       the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Copper Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Yeah, come here to Copper Lake for a wonderful time. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino, and whitewater paddling is great on Kootenai. Copper Lake is a fine spot to visit for more than one day, Robinson Lake Campground is a fine spot to camp nearby; hiking is a popular thing                  to do around Copper Lake; Queen Mountain Trail is a perfect local trail.
