A great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SANDPOINT, NORTH. A common amount of rain falls here at Cooks Lake; the month with most of the snow is December while July is regularly the driest month. You absolutely should love Cooks Lake. Going for a hike on the White Mountain Trail is always a tremendous adventure,       and Brooks Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. Cooks Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Deep Creek Campground is a good local campground, and in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pack River. Through the summer at Cooks Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's;                  night lows at Cooks Lake through the winter ordinarily sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Dirt Oven Campground is a magnificent location to do that; good skiing awaits you at Schweitzer.
