During the warm months at Confusion Lake highs are commonly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Confusion Lake. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Confusion Lake; January is the month that gets the most snow; the driest of the months is July. So much amusing stuff to do in the Sawtooth Range,       not enough time. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Salmon River; not far from Confusion Lake you'll discover Benedict Lake which is a scenic lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Confusion Lake you can take a hike along the Black Warrior Creek Trail, and Plummer Peak is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Confusion Lake. So much exciting stuff in the neighborhood of Confusion Lake, simply fantastic. You'll need more than a day                  to explore everything Confusion Lake has to offer, you can camp at Alturas Inlet Campground, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Yuba River Trail. If you're here at Confusion Lake, you could explore Timpa Creek; you can stay the night at Powerplant Campground. This place, the Sawtooth Range, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Take a hike on the Bull Moose Trail, and a day on the slopes of Soldier Mountain Ski Resort is just what you need.
