Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Colt Lake rocks! Near Colt Lake you find Friday Pass which is a wonderful spot to check out; if you're here, you could also check out picturesque Wind Lakes. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bitterroot Range. Summertime highs at Colt Lake generally tend to be in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 30's with

And if that's not enough there's a load more exciting stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range. You'll come across a delightful lake called Swamp Lake near Colt Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Colgate Licks Nature National Recreation Trail. White Sand Campground is a perfect place for that. Good hiking is available along the Granite Ridge Trail, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Crooked Fork.
Now,
you may imagine that's loads but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Bitterroot Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Colt Lake; State Line Trail is a great local trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything
Colt Lake has to offer, you can camp at Powell Campground. This lake is so wonderful. The amount of rain that falls at Colt Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is usually January, that's the one that
snows the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Grave Peak can be distinguished from Colt Lake; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Hamilton is a splendid location to spend a night or two.
