Colt Lake

There's a great 20-mile-from-start-to-finish category III whitewater run on Lochsa River close by, the Papoose Creek to Indian Grave Creek segment. This run of Lochsa River is suited for raft paddlers who have been raft paddling for some time but who are not yet ready for the really treacherous rapids. Nearby there is a good 22-mile-from-beginning-to-end category III-IV whitewater part, the Dolph Creek to Selway River section of Moose Creek. The Dolph Creek
to Selway River section of Moose Creek is suggested for raft paddlers of medium familiarity. Don't go whitewater rafting and kayaking before first checking current conditions; it's risky matter.
