There's whitewater on Kelly Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers; there is a great hiking trail close by called the Shin Point Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Spring Lake, and camping is available at Mush Campground. The Dead Mule Trail is a tremendous hiking trail in the neighborhood of Cold Lake, and if you       came for an overnight stay Hidden Creek Campground is a great place to camp. The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do close to Cold Lake. Cold Springs Peak is clearly visible from Cold Lake. Lakes? Sure, Ice Lake is around here. For the duration of the warm months at Cold Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently                  in the 30's, and night lows at Cold Lake during the wintertime frequently drop into the 10's. Cold Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; the month with most of the snow is January while July is frequently the driest month. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Bitterroot Range.
