Idaho has many beautiful lakes and Colburn Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Schweitzer Mountain Resort is a magnificent site to get some rest. A great spot like Schweitzer Basin here at Colburn Lake is too brilliant to miss, and there are other places here than Colburn Lake, for example Caribou Lake. Pack River is a pleasant whitewater spot next to Colburn Lake, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Schweitzer is relatively near. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Pack River near Colburn Lake, and not far from Colburn Lake you'll locate Keokee Lake which is a pretty lake. the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Colburn Lake.
Colburn Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow while July is mostly the
driest month. A great location to camp here at Colburn Lake is Lake Rv; going for a hike along the White Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SANDPOINT NORTH, and on a pretty day you get a good view of Blue Mountain from Colburn Lake.

...ll-thrus, 3 huge super sites overlooking the lake, and another 20 partial hookup sites. We also have camping cabins and covered wagons and Wooden pole tents with wooden floors. We also have internet, movie rentals, and sell propane too. This area has tons of hiking, fishing, hunting and canoing/kayaking in the Kootenai River. The Kootenai Wildlife Refuge is 5 miles away and is great to hike around. We have fishing and swimming in our 3 acre lake and have 2 huge Lakeside Firepits. Some of the sites have BBQs and Picnic Tables and we sell ice, wood, charcoal, pop, snacks and some RV hookup supplies. Here are a couple of great hikes to add to the site:
Snowcreek Falls, Naples, Idaho. Directions: Go north from Sandpoint on Highway 95 to Naples. Turn left on the old highway 95 and go about 5 miles, passing the Deep Creek Inn. You will cross a railroad crossing, keep following the road until you see a brown Forest Service sign on the right hand side of the road.
