You get a glorious sight of The Nub from Cliff Lake, and do take a hike on the Dead Mule Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Cliff Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows at Cliff Lake during the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Washington Creek Campground,       and there are some nice whitewater spots on Clearwater River - North Fork. An average amount of rainfall falls at Cliff Lake; the month with most of the snow is January while July is frequently the driest month. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is abundant here in the Bitterroot Range. A great close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - St. Regis. This lake is located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range. Cliff Lake is not the only place close by, Steve Lake                  is a close by lake; since you're here you can take a hike along the Old Montana Trail. Aquarius Campground is a wonderful campground nearby, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Shin Point Trail. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cliff Lake.
