Do stop by Clay Bottom Reservoir while you're in this part of Idaho. This lake is so wonderful. This is a perfect region for folks who like lakes. Packsaddle Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood; there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Forty-Four Trail. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Clay Bottom Reservoir. Going for a hike on the Grasshopper Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Owyhee River - East Fork.
