Do set aside some time for Piute Basin since you're here at Clay Bottom Reservoir, and get covered with water paddling on Deep Creek. Going for a hike on the Forty-Four Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and a good close by hotel is Hillside Motor Inn. For the duration of the summertime at Clay Bottom Reservoir highs are usually in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
