     Go for a hike on the Kirkwood Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the delightful whitewater of Madison River. Looking for something in the vicinity of Clark Lake? Upper Coffin Lake is nearby, and the summit of Bald Peak can be seen from Clark Lake. This place is excellent, just check out all the amusing stuff to do right next door to Clark Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Clark Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rock Creek Campground;  
   going for a hike on the Rock Creek Pack Trail is always a nice adventure. During the days of summer highs here at Clark Lake get into the 70's while nighttime lows are typically in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Clark Lake.
Clark Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually January, that's the one that snows the most while October is the month with
 
               the least amount of precipitation. After a long day outdoors Super 8 West Yellowstone is a perfect place to spend a night or two; needless to say West Targhee Creek flows through this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Clark Lake is not the only place close by, Edwards Lake is a close by lake, and you can stay the night at Wild Rose Ranch Resort.
This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Clark Lake without first going for a hike along the Cutoff Trail. A good nearby hotel is Sawtelle Mountain Resort, and Clark Lake sits in the shade of the Henrys Lake Mountains.
