Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Lochsa River, and do take a hike on the Anderson Butte National Recreation Trail. A lake nearby is Louse Lake, and why not check out nearby Chimney Creek while you're here at Chimney Lake. This location, the Clearwater Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting things. Gedney Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground, and you should positively pop       by Flea Ridge Point during your stay. If you get bored of Chimney Lake, you could also check out close by Flea Lake, and the East Boyd Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best. If you go for the outdoors, you'll go for Chimney Lake. Chimney Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Fog Mountain Campground is a great place to camp nearby, and Chimney Lake is right by the Meadow Creek National Recreation Trail. High temperatures                  at Chimney Lake throughout the summertime are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's with temperatures at Chimney Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Chimney Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; most of the snow falls all through January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The Clearwater Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
