Chimney Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The annual rainfall here at Chimney Lake is about average; all through January this area sees the most snow while July is regularly the driest month. And that's not all the things to do here in the Clearwater Mountains. A lake nearby is Flea Lake, and a delightful spot for whitewater paddling is Lochsa River. This lake is so wonderful. | | you need to camp here for a while, Fog Mountain Campground is a good place for that, and going for a hike on the Meadow Creek National Recreation Trail is always a nice adventure.
High temperatures at Chimney Lake through the summertime months are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows through the wintertime for Chimney Lake tend to be in the | |

20's. Chimney Creek flows through this area, and there are tremendous places to explore along the Anderson Butte National Recreation Trail. Chimney Lake is a beautiful lake in the Clearwater Mountains.

Chimney Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Chimney Lake has to offer, you can camp at Gedney Creek Campground. Near Chimney Lake you stumble on the East Boyd Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail which is a good hiking trail; Flea Ridge Point is a glorious location to explore while in the vicinity.
