Chickadee Lake is located in the Sawtooth Range. All year is a delightful time in the Sawtooth Range if you fancy the outdoors. Hiking along the Bull Moose Trail is delightful fun, and a quick spree to Timpa Creek is positively a wonderful idea. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Soldier Mountain Ski Resort, and here at Chickadee Lake you can see Plummer Peak. If you       came for an overnight stay Queens River Campground is a great site to camp, and if you get bored of Chickadee Lake you could also explore close by Benedict Lake. This place, Chickadee Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Salmon River, and Chickadee Lake is right by the Yuba River Trail. Summertime highs at Chickadee Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of                  summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Chickadee Lake are in the 10's. The amount of rain that falls at Chickadee Lake is close to the national average; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest of the months is July. So much fun stuff to do here in the Sawtooth Range, too wonderful to be true.
