This lake is located in the wonderful Clearwater Mountains. The annual rain here at Chatcolet Lake is about average; through the month of December you get the most snow around here, and the driest of the months is July. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend St. Maries River, and if you came to camp Heyburn State Park is a good site to do that. Yep,       outdoors entertaining stuff to do are really plentiful here at Chatcolet Lake. You are near Beedle Point if you're here at Chatcolet Lake; camping at Bell Bay Campground is always a splendid experience. So many fun things in the Clearwater Mountains, just mind-boggling. Lakes? Sure, Round Lake is in the neighborhood, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Chatcolet Lake; White Pine National Recreation Trail is a magnificent local trail. Life's too short                  to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Clearwater Mountains. Don't forget to take a wonderful little spree to Pedee Creek, and after a long day outdoors The Coeur d'Alene Resort is a nice place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Chatcolet Lake, you'll hit upon Hidden Lake which is a stunning lake, and good hiking is available along the Caribou Ridge National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Chatcolet Lake is a location with many visitors from Coeur d'Alene. Through the summertime highs here at Chatcolet Lake reach the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Chatcolet Lake tend to be in the 20's.
