This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bull Moose Trail, and camping at Marshall Creek Campground is always a brilliant experience. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Do stop at Heart Lake in the vicinity of Champion Lakes, it's a pretty lake; SnowRun by ResortQuest is a delightful       spot to get some rest. The snow is great at Sun Valley, and if you came to camp Prairie Campground is a brilliant place to do that. The Yellow Belly Trail offers hiking at its best, and from Champion Lakes you get a good panorama of Washington Peak. Champion Lakes is pretty dried up generally; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and July on the other hand is the driest. Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Champion Lakes,                  high temperatures commonly reach the 70's; the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, commonly in the 30's.
