Idaho has many beautiful lakes and Chain Lakes is one of them. All through the summertime at Chain Lakes highs are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's while Chain Lakes nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's. | | whitewater. Teton Mountain View Lodge is a fine spot to get some rest, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Bitch Creek. Buggy Spring is an inspiring spot to go to while here; you can go for a hike on the Poacher Trail. This lake is so wonderful. location to spend a night or two, and Chain Lakes is a fine place to camp, Cave Falls Campground is a fine place. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are truly plentiful here at Chain Lakes. Going for a hike on the De Coster Trail
is always a pleasant adventure. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Chain Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Bear Gulch Campground. Chain Lakes gets very little precipitation; January is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest of the months is July.
