Don't leave Chain Lakes without first paying a visit to Buggy Spring; you can go for a hike on the De Coster Trail. At Chain Lakes all through the days of summer highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Chain Lakes dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. | | little rain; most of the snow falls all through January, and the driest month of the year is July. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. There are plenty of people from Jackson here at Chain Lakes, and don't leave Chain Lakes without first going for a hike along the West Boundary Trail. Get covered with water paddling on Bitch Creek, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Grand Targhee. Chain Lakes is a nice place | |

to visit for more than one day, Cave Falls Campground is a nice place to camp nearby, and Teton Mountain View Lodge is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Chain Lakes, for
example Paddy Lake, and after a long day outdoors Teton Valley Cabins is a great location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Squirrel Creek Guest Ranch and Inn, and glorious hiking is available along the Poacher Trail.
