If you are traveling by, why not stop by Center Lake. There's so much to do here at Center Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Payette Lake Campground is a splendid spot for that, and do have a look at Bolton Creek while you're here at Center Lake. It is very dried out here at Center Lake commonly; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; July is when it's the driest. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up

| | to the Salmon River Mountains. Western Mountain Lodge is a perfect spot to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Lava Butte Trail is always a wonderful adventure.
Throughout the summer months highs here at Center Lake reach the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Center Lake are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling | |

on Payette River - North Fork, and don't leave Center Lake without first going for a hike along the Crestline Trail. There are good locations to explore along the Broken Leg Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything
Center Lake has to offer, you can camp at Upper Payette Campground.
And that's not all you can do here at Center Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Mccall Super 8 Lodge. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
