Man, is there plenty of exciting things to do in the vicinity of Cedar Well. Very wonderful scenery and great skiing is what you get at Pebble Creek. Lots of people from Pocatello come to Cedar Well, and TownePlace Suites by Marriott Pocatello is a magnificent site to get some rest. Glide down the rapids of Portneuf River in a kayak, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop       by close by Horse Lake. At Cedar Well you don’t see much rain; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. If you came for an overnight stay Cherry Springs Campground is a nice spot to camp, and not far from Cedar Well you'll find Upper Stump Canyon Reservoir which is a beautiful lake. High temperatures at Cedar Well through the summer are in the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime                  the highs are regularly in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Cedar Well plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Scout Mountain Campground is a nice campground nearby, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn University.   Rodeway Inn University, Pocatello 14 miles away Easy interstate access.
