Cave Lake is a lake worth visiting. Cave Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Rainy Hill Campground is a nice local campground, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the English Point National Recreation Trail. Medicine Mountain, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Coeur d'Alene here. On a perfect day at Cave Lake you can take a hike along the White Pine Scenic Drive, and do go to Canary Creek while you're here at Cave Lake.
Cave Lake
gets a common amount of annual rainfall; December is when you get the most snow here while July is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. At Cave Lake throughout the summer months highs are in the 80's. All through
the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Cave Lake drop into the 20's.
