The amount of rain that falls at Cat       Lakes is close to the national average; through January this area sees the most snow; July meanwhile is the driest month. Cat Lakes is located in the Sawtooth Range. This lake is so wonderful. The Blue Bunch Trail is a fine hiking trail near Cat Lakes, and a great location to camp here at Cat Lakes is Bear Valley Campground. Summertime at Cat Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's.
