    Why not stop by Castle Lake if you're passing through these parts. Some of the water nearby flows, like Elk Flat Fork, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Kelly Canyon. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Castle Lake you can take a hike along the De Coster Trail, and Castle Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Sandy Mite Fly Shop and Cafe is a great local campground. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the  
   Carlton Cutoff Trail; splendid skiing awaits you at Grand Targhee.
Around Castle Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Elk Flat revives the soul, and if you need a location to stay Teton Springs Lodge & Spa is a tremendous choice. Teton Mountain View Lodge is a delightful location to get some rest; Castle Rock
 
               is a wonderful place to have a look at while in the vicinity.
During the warm days of summer at Castle Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Castle Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. Thunder Mountain can be spotted from Castle Lake; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Snake River - South Fork. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the neighborhood of Castle Lake will keep you coming back many times. If you came to camp Pine Creek Campground is a great place to do that; Pine Creek is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby.
