This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Canyon Lake is fine fun, Dirt Oven Campground is a fine local campground, and a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Boundary Creek. Not much rain falls here at Canyon Lake; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here; July meanwhile is the driest month. Going for a hike along the White Mountain Trail will       let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and Plowboy Campground is a great campground here. At Canyon Lake throughout the warm months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are frequently in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Canyon Lake.
