Canyon Lake is a lake worth visiting. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Schweitzer. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Canyon Lake is fine fun, Dirt Oven Campground is a fine local campground, and a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Boundary Creek. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are frequently in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Canyon Lake. While you're here at Canyon Lake you can take a hike along the Hall Mountain Trail, and you can run the rapids of Smith Creek.
